We know that Trump would not admit defeat if he lost, and I expect him to declare victory very early, just because.

We also know that, most likely, we're not going to know the winner of this thing the next morning.

So how early do you think Trump will claim he's the winner? I'll go with (1).

‘In 2020, some states experienced a "red mirage," in which Trump appeared to be leading on election night, before a "blue shift" saw Democrat Joe Biden overtake him, a phenomenon Trump used to amplify his false claims that the election was stolen.

Nothing untoward had occurred. Democrats tend to live in more populous urban areas, where counting votes takes longer. Democrats also have embraced mail voting more readily than Republicans after Trump's false claims that mail ballots are untrustworthy, and those ballots take longer to count than Election Day votes. Trump has both encouraged and criticized early and mail-in voting in 2024.’

Trump will use the red mirage to falsely declare victory and demand vote counting be stopped.

The polls, party registrations, and early voter turn out all show a Trump victory…probably early on in the night.

There really aren’t many surprises in Presidential races. The 2020 was much closer. Biden could have legitimately won it because they could just blame President Trump for COVID, but the Dems opted to cheat in key swing states so we will never know.

It will have to be after all the polls close.

His declaration will probably be soon. I'm sure he is already practicing in front of a mirror to get his expression just right like he did for his mug shot.

What difference does it make? When you win, you win.

After 2030, I think Nr Trump and his campaign will wait until there’s a reasonable certainty of his election before claiming victory.

He sure looks a lot better than old Joe these days

Well, this is interesting:

Democrats have a plan if Trump prematurely declares election victory

U.S. election winners are typically declared by major media outlets who analyze vote counts provided by election officials. While candidates sometimes declare victory before those calls are made, it is unusual to do so before the winner is at least arguably apparent.

"We are sadly ready if he does and, if we know that he is actually manipulating the press and attempting to manipulate the consensus of the American people ... we are prepared to respond," Harris said in an interview with ABC on Wednesday.

She gave no details of those preparations, but six Democratic Party and Harris campaign officials said the initial fight against any early Trump victory claim would take place in the court of public opinion. They plan to flood social media and television airwaves with demands that all votes be counted before victories are declared.

"As soon as he (Trump) falsely declares victory, we're ready to get up on TV and provide the truth and tap a broad network of people who can use their influence to push back," a top official with the Democratic National Committee said in an interview.

I hope you're right, but considering the support he drew by claiming the election was rigged, I suspect he will take the same rout this time too.

The subhuman will declare victory before polls close in the west to discourage people from voting.

Then it's on to shitposting proving again that he's a sociopath.

So they are just going to whine. Fitting, I guess.

They can push all they want. If one lived on my street, I'd beat them to a pulp.

Another dick on TV voting for Harris....fell for all her campaign lies and has no idea what she really stands for.

Nothing.
