The only premise I had is that people are worried that Trump is going full-on authoritiarian/dictator/fascist whatever. It'd be nice to know that the bulk of Republicans would reject him if he did. And, based on some of the lunatics I talk to on this site, it's legitimate to wonder whether they would. The amped up partisanship has people so radicalized that many of them can't bring themselves to criticize their party or admit to any flaws. That's dangerous.
