(1) Let's be fair.

(2) Most Americans are so busy just trying to make a living that they do not really have time to think about the group under discussion.

(3) They accept the fact that they cannot do anything to change many problems, so they spend their free time trying to have a good time (as at the football game yesterday).

(4) They passively accept the holidays set aside for famous people of that group, and if the Democrats are ever able to hand out reparations, most Americans will passively accept the fact (and limit their grumbling to private conversations).

(5) They accept the fact they live in the strangest nation on earth, and they prefer to live here -- despite its many problems.

(6) Heck! If you think things are bad now, just think of what this nation will be like for your great-great grandchildren!
