If that is the case, I suggest all US Citizens get CCWs and arm themselves. Just remember, there are more Dems than Reps. That should put a stop to this nonsense. Hate to break it to you but, in most states, not having a CCW and having a weapon out of sight is grounds to be taken down, handcuffed and arrested. I still hold that a concealed weapon is much better than an open carry. You have no idea whether grandmama is packing or not so you are more likely to behave yourself.

I live in a state that has both CCW and open carry. Even the CCW has limits in where you can have your weapon. And MOST large cities limit open carry. We do it here by asking the open carry person what they are up to. Answer it with the "2nd Amendment" crap and you may find yourself chin mounted to the cement. But walk into a Bar, you had better leave your weapon in a secure lockdown in your vehicle.
