Why were the police approaching them in the first place. They were in front of an open store and one had a grocery bag in his hand? Is shopping while black probable cause to be confronted by the police on private property in the first place now?

The perp pulled a gun on the cop. That is the only fact we need to know about the shooting itself. Proper procedure may be another thing to look at another time.

Sure it is.

In Missouri we had an 18 year old man who was so violent and held such disregard for our laws that he had already accumulated a rap sheet of violent assaults and thefts and weapon charges. Destined to be a man who would victimize any of us at any chance he felt like it.

His last act was pulling a gun on an American cop. And our cop ended this threat that...almost assuredly. ...would've gone on to victimize others, for decades.

But now he wont. We should be thankful that we have cops willing to stand up to these violent thugs.
