Garner never raised two hands in the air. He resisted arrest and had to be brought down with a take down maneuver. Which by the way, is not the same as a choke hold. It does appear Sharpton didn't have his facts straight. As for Michael Brown - he didn't have his hands in the air - he was charging a police officer when the officer responded in self defense.

Instead of making a t shirt - Can't breathe - they should make one Can't Obey the Law. It least it will explain why they died. Had either man obeyed the law he would still be here today. Lesson? Obey the law enforcement officer when he says, you are under arrest. Do not resist arrest. Obey the law. Don't do armed robberies and do not keep selling cigarettes when you have been arrested for it 30 times before.

My family left for Florida too. Small world, Rosie. John Gotti was on Howard Beach - Queens - my beach was a good distance from his - but his yacht traveled in our waters -my beach was nicer - so we were interconnected - sorta - I am sad to say Sandy definitely hit hard where my family's home is located - it's waterfront - so it took a hard hit - water filled the first floor of the house - didn't reach the 2nd floor - but it has since been restored. Brooklyn is a tough neighborhood - I think they will hold their own. I love Roudy Guliani but de blasio is someone they should demand his resignation. I blame de Blasio too. He should bear the brunt of it - I agree, Rosie.

Brown and Garner were criminals. They weren't innocent. They were criminals in the process of committing crimes when they thankfully met their end. Like Trayvon Martin another thug.

So a black person standing around = committing a crime?

Thankfully meeting their end? I guess Tamir Rice deserved it too because we can't have black people play in parks with a BB gun like white kids do in parks because that would mean we would have to treat black people as people. That obviously can't happen according to Tispycatlover.

uhm-----well------you probably remember Crown Heights 1991-------here is a prediction-----for several somewhat SIMILAR reasons---there is going to be a similar episode in
Bedford Stuyvesant 2014-15. Bed-Stuy has been heating
up for a few years now. Interestingly enough-----Bed-Stuy
was barely hit by Sandy. Even Hurricanes avoid the area.

I feel very concerned for the police in America. I am keeping them in my prayers. What they are enduring right now must be terrible. It is not right.

Yeah, it's so hard for them. I mean getting off scot free for killing unarmed black people must be so hard. I mean why can't we just let them kill people without criticism? I mean why should we hold police to a higher standard? It's like they took an oath or something. Crazy talk.
