Don't get your panties in a bunch. How will Ukraine perform ANY offensive? They are in a pocket. The most dangerous place to be for any army. Are they going to invade Russia? If so Russia will justifiably drop a nuke on Ukraine and the world will sit back and do nothing.

I asked if they would invade Russia because the only way to advance safely against an enemy is to straighten their line or bend them back into a pocket of your own making. That means the "Offensive" has to be from Kharkiv into Russia to straighten out the line.

No nuking is justifiable. It also isn't justifiable from a strictly military perspective either. If Russian starts to "drop a nuke", they will be open a pandora's box, that could easily result in Russia being obliterated by nuclear attacks from NATO nations, including the US.

US nuclear submarines patrol the world, and could demolish Moscow in a minute. Putin knows this, so his war will likely remain conventional, unless he goes totally insane.

That is pretty much true of any Soviet designed tank. The Soviets-Russians love the autoloader, but it comes with a huge expense.

To keep the rate of fire high, it normally leaves an exposed shell inside of the turret. And if the tank is hit at that time, it causes a catastrophic explosion. Every Soviet-Russian tank since the T-64 has used this.
