As it were, I have said my piece to Canadian authorities for 20 years and they didn't care to listen. Nothing I say or do is going to change this, they are entrenched and continue to lie to Americans.

Should you expect me to die quietly? To fool myself into submission as legal rights are destroyed just as I did for the four decades prior? Should I have been expected to be compliant and reveal the locations of the French Resistance, homosexuals and Jews who were in hiding in France after the Germans occupied the country if demanded?

That approach has been tried multiple times. Then there's the old "you suffer from psychological problems", "you are some security threat" on and on.

Canadian men who had hardly experienced life died face down on a beach in Europe, in a country they didn't know nor would see much of that day. All of their sacrifices were to defeat fascism and protect liberty.

Mark Carney has won the race to succeed Justin Trudeau as Canada's prime minister, vowing to win the trade war with the US and President Donald Trump.

The former governor of the Canadian central bank and Bank of England beat three rivals in the Liberal Party's leadership contest in a landslide.

In much of his victory speech, Carney, 59, attacked Trump, who has imposed tariffs on Canada and said he wants to make the country the 51st US state. "Americans should make no mistake," he said. "In trade, as in hockey, Canada will win."

Carney is expected to be sworn in the coming days and will lead the Liberals in the next general election, which could be called in the coming weeks.

Only an idiot assumes that the smaller nations have no leverage. Trump is that idiot. Trump is all in on tariffs but all he's holding is a pair of deuces.

All of Trump's bullshit about the USA getting "screwed over" requires the uninformed and the uneducated to forget that the United Nations, the World Trade Organization, the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund are all the creations of the USA. The reason WHY all of these agencies are headquartered in New York is because the USA set all of them up after WWII to ensure peace, stability and cooperation in the world.

The USA is the richest, most powerful nation the world has ever seen, which is why Trump telling you that your allies and trading partners are "taking advantage" of you, or "screwing you over" is both false and dangerous. If what he says is true, how did everyone but Donald Trump get rich.

But Trump has done NOTHING but lose under the current structure. He's gone bankrupt 6 times because he's fiscally incompetent, and doesn't have the first clue about how to run ANYTHING, except into the ground. But he thinks he's the Greatest Negotiator ever. Watching him in his first Administration, was very instructive.

Trump keeps backing down and getting nothing in return. Time and time again. He tells some face-saving lie that he won some concession, but in reality, he's lied to you - again. North Korea got permission to build a nuclear arsenal, and Trump got a box of bone fragments from the Korean War.

Now Trump is bankrupting the US economy. And the rest of the world is going to dump your debt and move on. We've been distancing ourselves from the effects of American greed and stupidity since W crashed your economy through fiscal incompetence and greed.
