You've heard the Democrat Motto - 'Laws for thee but not for me', but this is going a little 2 far.

2 Democrat admitted terrorists were arrested and charged with their firebombing of a police car during the Democrats' 'Summer of Love' terrorist rampage.

They were bailed out and have supposedly been able to return to their normal lives while waiting for trial ... instead of being placed in DC Gitmo or held in prison awaiting trial.

Now appearing for their plea before the trial, it is reported that these terrorisys' their plea of being guilty to the charges against them, that could / should include acts of terrorism, could get them LESS Ttime in jail.

WTF?

'You perpetrated a terrorist bombings and ate a threat to society.'
-- 'You're right. I'm guilty.'

'Oh, in that case we can / should be lenient and give you less time in jail.'

Again, WTF?!

Meanwhile, weeks after domestic terrorists 'Ruth Sent Us' perpetrated a terrorist attack against a pro-life group, firebombing their HQ and threatening their lives, USSC Justice-reject & current Biden US AG Garland can't seem to be able to find and arrest the terrorists, despite the group bragging about perpetrating the bombing. (Perhaps it is not a case of incompetence or criminal partisanship keeping him from doing so but instead him being to busy going after 'terrorist' parents at school board meetings.)

Why the hell would you give a terrorist LESS Ttime in jail just because they plead guilty because they know its an open and shut case?

Just another example of how screwed up our Justice system is.

Time to start measuring rope.
Sadly, this is the type of injustice that breeds vigilantism. When the government is placing their stamp of approval on a side of the lawlessness and showing that they will be treated differently, lady justice is no longer blind. Our justice system is severely broken, and "equity" is the cause. Equality under the law means everyone is held to account equally. When some are more equal than others, due to the political ideologies, that is when our republic is in danger of being lost.

History shows that people pushed will eventually say enough.

Molotov cocktail lawyers finally plead guilty. Again

4 Jun 2022 ~~ By Jazz Shaw

Here are a couple of names that we haven’t seen in the headlines for a while. Urooj Rahman and Colinford Mattis are the two (former) New York City lawyers who constructed Molotov cocktails and firebombed a police vehicle during the summer of love back in 2020. They were identified almost immediately and arrested, leading to a series of plea deals that were announced and then rejected or withdrawn. The two could have been facing 30 years in prison or even life sentences under domestic terrorism charges. But this week they both entered a guilty plea (again) and will now very likely face far less time behind bars than had been originally anticipated. (Wall Street Journal)

In the end, the court accepted guilty pleas from each of the defendants on a single charge of conspiracy to construct an explosive device. The maximum sentence for that is just five years but prosecutors don’t expect them to receive more than one to two years and a fine. They will also be permanently disbarred in New York.
Does that really seem like enough? Rahman was caught on video throwing the bomb, as well as driving away from the scene. Colinford Mattis had a pile of firebombs in his vehicle and was recorded as he attempted to hand them out to other rioters, encouraging them to ramp up the destruction. They admitted doing it multiple times in public, so there was never any question of guilt. As to motive and intent, one week after the attack, Urooj Rahman famously told reporters that “the only way they hear us is through violence.”

Was this a case of the prosecution somehow being worried that they wouldn’t be able to bring in a guilty verdict on any more serious charges? Or do New York City’s liberal prosecutors simply not want to put them away? Both of those possibilities might be in play. From the beginning, the media has played up the image of the bomb makers, describing them as “young and idealistic.” If this case had gone to trial, the press would no doubt continue doing it, claiming that the two were being “persecuted” by a racist system or whatever.
The court might not be able to find a full jury willing to pronounce them guilty despite the overwhelming and incontrovertible evidence proving the charges. And the district attorneys in New York are quite uninterested in charging cases of domestic terrorism unless it’s the right kind of domestic terrorism. (People who can be portrayed as white conservatives and probably Trump supporters.) They certainly don’t want to be locking anyone up for firebombing a law enforcement vehicle if it was done in the name of “social justice,” right?
There’s an old saying about how the wheels of justice turn slowly. In New York, sometimes they even spin in reverse.

Commentary:
The disbar is permanent in New York. Will they be allowed to practice law in a few years in New York State? Or maybe in some other state? Come to California! We have plenty of terrorist lawyers here! A lot of them in the government!
Really! These were just two goofy kids firebombing police cars and police officers. It isn’t like the Insurrectionists who took selfies inside the Capital.
When will Joe Biden outlaw the use of unregistered 'Ghost Molotov cocktails?
Both felons have long, brilliant, lucrative careers ahead of them, bouncing back and forth between the DNC and the so-called “news media” like a couple of ping pong balls.
Word on the street is that Justices Sotomayor and the newly appointed Judge Jackson are offering both clerk positions no matter the charge or the plea.
Plea bargaining a 30-year ride down to one year and disbarment is pretty slick lawyering, but it isn’t justice. There’s no guarantee they’ll even get that.

hotair.com???? Hardly an unbiased source.

Regardless of the prosecution’s attempts to paint these defendants as “terrorists”, throwing a Molotov cocktail at an EMPTY police cruiser is not a “terrorist act”. No one was harmed. This is a property damage crime.

Furthermore, they lawyers have been “suspended” from their jobs and if convicted, could be disbarred. So you presumption that they returned to their normal lives is also false.

The ONLY January 6 insurrectionists who have been jailed for long periods are those who assaulted and seriously injured police officers.

Your outrage is not only misplaced but laughably so.
