Seems like in San Francisco and Los Angeles, the MLB teams apparently forgot to tell their players that wearing a pride cap was optional on pride night. At first major league baseball punished a few players for wearing bible inscriptions on their caps as uniform violations but, after public backlash, no punishements will be handed out to these players as they were supposed to be told that wearing the pride cap was optional. At least that's their story and they're sticking to it. In any event, we've got another win for not being forced into accepting this madness. Hopefully the left will respect these players for their beliefs and not cancel them in some fashion.

I just have to wonder how many in the LGBTQ+ world wish that things like this would not happen.

Their lives are often complex and difficult to maneuver without the additional press.

Are pride nights and pride month even really necessary in 2026?
Good question. Last I knew the letter people could go to any games they wanted so why have a special night or a special month? Are they trying to say they should only be allowed to attend games one time a year or only during June? If so, the right might be OK with that trade off.
