Ever wonder why we so willingly play God overseas toppling governments, replacing them with our ideas of government, intervene to stop genocides, oh wait we don't do that. Yet when we have many of those same problems here at home it doesn't occur to anyone to fix our own issues first before presuming to tell others how to fix their's.

How can the US insert itself into an ethnic cleansing conflict when we have a huge problem with racism right here at home? We haven't started rounding people up and executing them yet, but smaller scale examples are in the news every day.

Our own religions don't exactly see eye to eye yet presume to have something useful to say when other countries' religious conflicts become worrisome.

We're screaming for something to be done to 'secure the border' yet presume to tell countries like Israel 'don't build the security fence' or 'play nice with Gaza.'

If America doesn't seem to have the same standing around the world we think we used to have it's probably not so much a given administration as even a child recognizes hypocrisy when they see it as when parents tell them don't smoke or drink when both parents smoke and drink.

As I said yesterday, America is a teenager that needs to stay home, shut its damn mouth, clean its room, and grow the **** up. We can't manage America right now so we have no business trying to manage the world.

You're more optimistic than I. Being almost 300 years old I liken us to a two year old having tantrums. Other countries are the teens and adults. :)
