Dude listen to some John Popper. Don't get me wrong I understand where you're coming from. I've played guitar most of my life and while I love people from back in the day like Jimmy Page, Clapton, Santana, Berry, etc. I acknowledge that there are people nowadays who are just better. Like waaaay better.

i have listened to Popper....to say he is the best ever?.....i dont think so.....for christ sakes a magazine that has Harp players rating the players dont even have the guy in their top 20 all time....saying best ever takes a lot of things into account.....now saying one of the best....no argument....but hey i understand what your saying about guitar players....Hendrix is automatically no 1 on every dam list.....i can think of a few players that i felt were better players than him......
