The train camps simply filled the holes. The reason they were moved was because they were filled with firewater bottles.
LOL....Back when my grandparents had an outhouse it was built on skids and when it was time to "clean" it they waited till the wind was blowing away from the house they hooked to it and moved it out of the way then set the shit pit on fire.
Once done they put some lime in it, moved the outhouse back, and it was ready to go again.
My son lived in Washington state. When he drilled for oil in North Dakota, he lived at the well site for months on end, two weeks at a time. When the well was completed, they moved with the drilling rig.The camps moved with the railroad. Rarely did they stay in one place more than a month.
The spying is an extra added bonus.![]()
There's no reason to spy, most folks put everything out there for the whole world to see.

Funny thing when you look at the "Mah China" stalking horse, they use facial ID and social score etc.. They maintain a lot of tyranny with only 1000 data centers.
China has 1K data centers, the US 5K.....Hell, that's not even "mine-shaft gap" territory.
Question is, what kind of surveillance and tyranny does an extra 2000-3000 proposed data centers bring to US citizens?
If it's solely about money just say so, don't try to sell people on some China boogeyman gonna beat us in AI.
