Some people could have a real allergic reaction to this. Dangerous

They set themselves up for a major civil suit. If that had been intentional, placing drugs in a customer's food without their consent is a serious crime with both state and federal implications.

I’d go back and execute the people responsible. After I’ve recovered.
Then I’d press charges against their corpses.

Someone who would spike the food is likely not worth their own salt. A human body, broken down into its constituent minerals, would be worth very little in terms of monetary value, likely less than $20. While the body contains valuable elements like oxygen, carbon, and hydrogen, their individual market prices are pretty low.

They claim they "accidentally" used THC infused oil.

How does that happen?

Apparently the cook accidentally used the wrong oil when he made a batch of dough.

It turned out that, on Oct. 22, the restaurant had run out of cooking oil and used oil from the shared kitchen in the building to prepare dough.

"The owner initially thought the oil was plain canola oil but later realized it might have been infused with THC," the report said. "Oil from a large, labeled storage container in the same area where the owner found the oil he used, tested positive for THC."

Wait wait wait...

Why would they even have THC oil in a kitchen? Is that a common thing you'd find in most kitchens and in that large of a quantity?

The principle is priceless.

For the record, I have a colleague who has been a big pothead/pot advocate his whole life. Now, in his late 60’s, he has spent the past three weeks unable to keep food down or even eat at this point. Serious abdominal illness. At his age, kidney failure is now a real possibility.
It took a second hospital visit to accurately diagnose his condition.
Cannaboid hypermesis.
You can be sure he’ll now have a new enlightened outlook on how absolutely dangerous pot is.

It was one of those shared kitchens that are rented to several small businesses.

I speculate that since the THC was in the pizza, subs and cheesy bread, it must have been the bread dough that was contaminated because it's used in all 3 products. And a lot of small pizzerias choose to rent one of those kitchens to make their dough because they have access to large very expensive industrial mixers. It's efficient.

Apparently one of the other businesses that uses that particular kitchen too makes THC infused goodies. And personally I think the pizza cook "borrowed" a little bit of oil from them for the dough after he ran out of canola oil without knowing that it was infused with THC.

On the other hand, maybe he just did it on purpose to **** with people.

I guess that stuff's pretty potent. Not like it was way back in the day when all we had was Meskin dirt-weed.

"THC-infused cooking oils are typically sold in quantities that allow for easy dosing and recipe adjustments. Here's a breakdown:
  • Serving-based quantities: Instead of focusing on large volumes, THC oil is usually measured by the amount of THC per serving, typically in milligrams (mg).
  • Total THC content per bottle/container: Packages will specify the total THC in milligrams, along with the amount per serving (e.g., 240mg THC total, 10mg THC per teaspoon).
  • Common sizes and ratios:
    • One ounce of cannabis can yield approximately 1-2 cups of infused cooking oil or 4 sticks of cannabutter, according to Karing Kind.
    • A standard ratio for making cannabis oil at home is 1 ounce (28 grams) of cannabis flower to 2 cups (16 fluid ounces) of oil.
  • Ready-made options: Some brands offer pre-made THC oils in standard bottle sizes like 30ml, 60ml, or 120ml. The THC content per milliliter and serving size will be clearly labeled on the package, says RISE Dispensaries.
Ultimately, the best quantity of THC cooking oil to use depends on individual needs and desired potency. It's crucial to consult the product's label for dosage instructions and begin with a low dose, gradually increasing as needed"

The shit in 1970’s was already strong enough to cause depersonalization disorder, psychosis, suicidal ideation, etc.

Can't say how it happened, but considering the cost of THC, I'm sure it wasn't intentional.
Too bad they don't say whether it was THC-8 or THC-9.
Now I'm just trying to figure out how I can get up to Wisconsin to try a few pieces. :smoke:
