Just got back from Cocoa Beach ... we got to see a satellite launch from Cape Canaveral while we were there. Glad we were at Cocoa - the NOISE was amazing! We'd probably be deaf had we been watching from Cape Canaveral.

Nah, I've watched launches from the port literally less than a mile away from the AFB checkpoint and the rumble is a bit more noticeable. What I really miss is the rumble from the space shuttle. Talking about shaking the house!!


But I was at work when the rocket went off. :'(
