Philadelphia suspects shot grocery store manager in face during argument over can of gravy

Its a low income area with lots of welfare for the residents

Violence is a way of life for them
Yes, I grew up amoing violence, my multiple times broken nose and other injuries from such attacks attest to that. Being jumped, beaten by hand and robbed is a far different situation than being shot in the face, attempted murder; over a can of gravy.

Its not so different

In both cases violent people are doing the only thing they know how to do

They know more than this, they just believe they live in a fisbowl and probably since grade school the have been a victim and/or a perpetrator of violence. I was first robbed at eight years old, I just let them take my money. As I grew older I refused to just let someone rob me for free, it came at a price but it is what it is, it was the environment I was placed in.
“It is natural for the immature to harm others. Getting angry with them is like resenting a fire for burning.”

People with mental health issues have guns. Why?
A Waffle House customer murdered an employee for telling him not to smoke.
I remember that story. :( :( :(

God bless you and the girl's family always!!!

Holly

P.S. I once told someone at my job that smoking was not allowed, but it was an elderly lady who held the lit cigarette. The only thing that she did was leave a few moments later. Nothing was ever said or done to me in return by her or my boss who just happened to witness the whole occurrence. I don't know if my boss would've called her out on it if I had not said anything first.

He was shot by an asshole with a gun, not a "mindset".

Some always thought it was a really stupid idea to try to integrate pure savages into civil society and expect good results.
What kind of fools thought it was a "good idea" ?

If it's one thing government has never learned, it's if you take 3/4 cup of fresh wholesome milk, and mix that with 1/4 cup of old sour curdled milk, you only have one thing, and that is a cup of rotten milk.

If I had to use one word to describe this story, that word would be "typical."

Their value on life is so little that it's even worth taking a life for a stupid can of gravy. It reminds me of that Bodega worker in NYC not long ago. The lowlife was in a designer tee shirt worth over $100.00, and he lost his life over a $2.50 bag of chips. How smart is that?

Obviously, the two customers had conservative parents.

It's not smart. People are generally not smart or logical. We have emotions and defense mechanism ( "how dare you threaten me you SOB"!). I could have lost my life over a walkman when I fought back. I had a gun pulled on me when I was randomly jumped at a bonfire party by sone guys who just came by looking for trouble. This is why wisdom and logic is important in life. It can't be bought or taught for the most part, only learned first hand.
