He did. About 20 years ago. I don't know how all these internet rumors about him still being alive came about.

Just joking. My condolences to his loved ones.

What is weird is that just the other day I looked up the bass line for the Barney Miller Theme song to refresh my memory. My wife, my niece and myself were rocking to that. Me on the bass, my wife on lead guitar and my niece on percussion.

And I haven't played that bass line in 5 - 10 years.

Loved that guy. He was great in anything he had a role in.

He could play comedy or mafia hit men. A great actor who will be missed.
