Pete Rose

1. Neither were ever suspended or fined for that.
2. No one has ever demonstrated that hitting a baseball or throwing a changeup is impacted by any PE drugs. If they were, the MLB home run champion would be Randy Poffo.
3. You really think those were the only ones?
And, finally...
Gaylord Perry, Don Drysdale, ****** Ford, George Brett...

Total BS on the juicers. 73 home runs? Rick Ankiel had to quit pitching (could not throw strikes) came back as OF hitting HR ten games in a row? Uh…they found steroids delivered to his home. Big Papi, manny were juicing. Hitting line drives all arm strength opposite field like Hank Aaron all of a sudden. Just SHUP loon.

yes he was....and he was fairly successful....his operas were pretty successful....Hayden was his good friend...
I guess I should have qualified… he wasn’t as well known during his life as he is now

Mozart wasn’t well known during his life
Biography:
A painting of Mozart

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was one of the most successful musicians of his era, but the popular play and film Amadeus portrays this classical genius dying penniless, cast off in an unmarked grave as the victim of murder at the hands of his rival fellow composer Antonio Salieri. In reality, Mozart made a fortune during his brief lifetime but seemed determined to spend every cent of it, leading to lifelong money woes — and centuries of misconceptions about his final years.

You’re either a hall of fame player or you’re not, giving him a plaque in the hall and not recognize him as a hall of fammer would serve no purpose in my opinion.
Oh no...you get recognized as a hall of fame player. But you don't get the distinction of having the full "honors". I don't claim to know all about it but I watched Band of Brothers and studied some of the soldiers who were portrayed in the mini-series. One of the commanders, of course, got his bronze star but for added distinction, he had oak leaf clusters on the citation. That is what I mean...you get in the hall for what you did on the field; you get honored for what you meant to the game.
If he’s 81 years old he shouldn’t give a shit anyway. What he did on the field spoke for itself, I don’t know why he needs the validation. I don’t see Bonds or Clemons whining about how they didn’t make it.
Well, he's in now. I think all of those guys should be in myself. But again, have an award for what you did...enhance it by how you added to the sport

Right now the HOF doesn’t have the best players.

Pete Rose, Roger Clemens, Barry Bonds, ARod, McGuire, Sosa

Some of the best players from the last 50 years are not there.
Agreed. I may have an argument with you about McGuire and Sosa though. Unlike the other 3, they were clearly a product of the steroids. Its what made them special. Rose, Clemens and Bonds were special players before they started juicing.

McGuire hit 49 HRs as a Rookie
Then 35-45 and 95-105 RBIs for the next five years

Agree, McGuire and Sosa didn't play at the top level of MLB long enough, steroids or not.

15th post
Brady Andersin hit 52 HR in modern days then disapperared? Thats right, I heard of him. Maybe he stopped juicing?
