Pete Hegseth Was Removed from Biden's Inauguration, Labeled 'Extremist'

What kind of tattoo? A swastika?
"God wills it..." (domestic terrorist? attends church))

So he's an Islamophobic twat? That's a good reason to not appoint him.

Also, he's completely unqualified.
There are no qualifications other than those in the US Constitution.

Pete is more than qualified, he will be confirmed easily.

Tulsi is qualified too. If you served in combat, you can serve wherever the president asks you to serve, you are qualified, period, full stop.

Rational people have a slightly higher bar for qualifications to be extremely high ranking government officials than what the constitution or law requires.

For obvious reasons.

Um, Timothy McVeigh served in combat. Having served in combat doesn't make you a saint.

While all of Trump's picks are bad, Hegseth, RFK, Gabbard, and Gaetz are uniquely unacceptable.

The question is, will the Senate push back enough to stop unqualified people from being in key positions.

The better question is, why couldn't Trump find better people?

1. I would have put Mike Pompeo as SecDEF. but I'm not president.
2. Pete can do a fine job there. He is very intelligent, has combat experience, and will have a superb cast of support staff advising and recommending his decisions.
3. The Pentagon has NOT passed an audit in many years. Pete needs to fire those who cannot manage a budget.

Combat experience and being “intelligent” is hardly sufficient to running the DoD.

If his supporting staff are so superb, what do we need him for?

The idea that he is the most qualified person for the job is absurd.

1. So why isn't he picking Pompeo for something?
2. What is his administrative experience? He's being asked to run a 800 billion dollar agency with global missions. Could you see any large corporation choosing a CEO like this?
3. Meaningless.

Interesting how the left says the most qualified is the most important, yet, rally for affirmative action to place less qualified over the more qualified. There is hypocrisy on both sides, can we all agree to that at least?

No, stupid.

Affirmative Action is about countering for the effects of white privilege.

In my life, I've worked with two people who were promoted beyond their abilities due to AA. (one a white woman, one a black woman.)

I've worked with dozens of people who were promoted beyond their abilities because they were related to the boss, fucking the boss, or drinking buddies with the boss.

Those are FAR worse to deal with.

1. I agree with your post. Pete Hegseth is no Timothy McVeigh, Pete is close to being a saint.

2. All of Trump's picks are NOT bad, they are fine. Hegseth will enable combat readiness and recruiting better than most, RFK has an issue with AUTISM, which is fine. Why has autism gone from 1 in 10,000 to 1 in 36? HHS needs to focus on real problems, like autism and obesity rather than doing research that creates pandemics, like Fau-Chi. Tulsi Gabbard was on the DNC stage with Biden and Kamala to be president...no issues then, right? So I'm calling BULLSHIT on DNC talking points about Tulsi. Gaetz may have had sex with a 17 year old, so what? Bubba Clinton did an intern and that was fine. Sex is NOT the issue, weaponizing the DOJ and LAWFARE is the issue.

3. The Senate needs to approve Trump's nominees because he has the right to choose them, just like the Republicans approved Biden's clown car nominees:

4. I also agree that there may be better people available to Trump, like Mike Pompeo. But, Trump prefers who he prefers.

No, stupid.

Wrong again.

No one care about your personal anecdotes.

1. Who says that intelligence and combat experience is not enough to run the DOD?

2. We need Pete because Trump wants him there, period.

3. Who says he has to be the "most qualified"? IMHO Mike Pompeo is probably the "most qualified", but Trump prefers Pete.

4. Pete Hegseth will be approved because he is "qualified".

Um, yeah.
Again, reckless speculation and assumptions. And since you can't admit they are, just admit you are the narcissist we all know you to be. But my guess is you can't admit to your personally flaws.
I'm not sure what kind of idiot would go into combat with tattoos like that.

He has tattoos associated with the Crusades. The Islamic world is still angry about the Crusades 1000 years later.
And again, more speculation that was his personal intent. You stand on nothing.
