Pete Hegseth Says Air Force Restoring Tuskegee Airmen Videos Amid Backlash

What a racist comment, and typical of a demklan member....segratation is the opposite of diversity....segragation is the oppsite of equity, segregation is the opposite of inclusion.
Yes, their unit was a segregated unit. But they were finally allowed to be included in the US Army Air Corps.

The 1989 film Glory depicts the 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry Regiment, the first all-Black regiment in the Union Army during the American Civil War

The 54th Massachusetts Regiment's bravery in battle inspired many more African American units to join the Union Army. Their actions also convinced many people that Black men could fight well.

Actually, a potential recruit is given an ASVAB test. The results of that test determine which openings are available to them. They then choose which of those availabilities they want to enter.

This is all determined before they set foot in basic training.
Yep based on their merit

Like I said

No they weren’t they had to go through the civilian corps to get trained

You demklan folks should study more about them

No, that is not what you said.

You said "after they go through training."

It happens before you go off to boot camp.

I'm a retired vet, dude.

Yes, they just got to volunteer, well in WW2 they could have been drafted

Once they get in, they get trained and based on their merit get selected for positions
They faced discrimination, racism and segregation and they were given the shit jobs.

Who told you they get selected on merit?

They were finally given the chance to DEI for their country.
You can use that name

No one can stop you

But what happened 1940 was very different from what liberals are up today

What specifically do you object to?

Diversity?
Inclusion?

gotcha, so after the test, based on how they perform on the test...ie merit.

The Tuskgee Airmen? Yes, I agree, that's why I said they weren't based on diversity, equity or inclusion. The opposite.

The Air Force says it has reinstated training material on the Tuskegee Airmen and Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASPs) after a brief delay to revise it in line with the Trump administration's rollback of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies.

I wonder why you need to restore something that folks claimed was not needed.
You happy now?

It's relevant because you keep saying how folks are selected, if you have never served you don't have a clue.
I’d like see superbad from the good old days

He’d have a shaving profile, bad ass black guy beard

And sunglasses to match

He’d greet the other bad ass bros around the compound with the standard bad ass bro clenched fist salute, along with “Right on my brother!”

How could we ever forget those days?

It's relevant because you are speaking out of your ass about a subject you know nothing about.
I am not the one claiming segragation is diversity, equity and inclusion...you made that claim
