Start by swearing in the WaPo reporter who claimed he or she had an anonymous source for these claims. Then the source can testify under oath and under his or her name.

If it then seems like a good lead, investigate it thoroughly.

Yes, someone saying "kill everbody" is a Hollywood fantasy. They see that in a movie and think it must be real, because the actors are so believable.

I watched a Arnold S. 3 letter GOV movie. It was terrible but I watched thru just to kill time.

I don't doubt that if they hit the cartel drug boat with a drone, and the boat was damaged but no destroyed, they would have fired a second shot.

The idea that they fired one shot, saw survivors swimming in the water, then paused and radio'd Sec Def Hegseth to ask if they should shoot the survivors, is pure fantasy.

Since we are both guessing, mine is that they fired, saw the boat was still afloat, and fired again. But that's only a guess. Maybe it was SOP to do a double tap, that makes sense also.

The idea of Pete Hegseth watching the feed and saying, "look at those little brown dudes dog paddlin' like they was crossing the Rio Grand-ay!" and ordering a second strike is an SNL sketch that some posters on here want to believe really happened.

None of the videos that the news is airing show clearly how much time passed between a first shot and a second. Some of them are misleadingly editing together multiple strikes on different days.

I like World Watcher's idea of doing an independent investigation, starting with putting the journalist who broke the story and then his source under oath, so that the investigators know who to question next.

It has a heroic commander (Kirk Douglas!), just trying to keep killing to the minimum (in the trenches of WWII), and his very villianous senior Commander, a Frenchie, no less. The movie was about the French Army, but for some reason, the good guy was American in a French uniform. Everyone else had a French accent, but not Kirk Douglas. He had the dimples.
