PERPETUAL WAR: Trump Orders Troops To Somalia...

Yes, there may have been an attack. I can't deny that. They are at all-out war over there. But i seriously doubt Assad used chemical weapons. It makes no strategic sense for him to have done so.

Sure it does! He's trying to take out his adversaries. DUH!

Another day, another war i guess. I gotta say, i'm a little disappointed in Trump. Everywhere you look, he seems to be escalating tension and conflict. It's getting pretty ugly. You can't help but have a sinking ominous feeling in your gut. Some very dark times could be coming soon. I hate to be all 'Doom & Gloom', but the future does look pretty bleak.

What are your thoughts?

The US is sending "dozens" of additional troops to Somalia to train and equip the Somali National Army and the forces participating in the African Union Mission in Somalia there. In an email to CNN, Charles Chuck Prichard, a spokesperson for US Africa Command, confirmed the deployment Friday, saying that the deployment of "a few dozen troops from the 101st Airborne Division" came "at the request and in close coordination with" the government of Somalia.

"The objective of this particular train and equip mission is to improve the logistical capacity of the Somali National Army and the focus will be on teaching basic logistics operations, which will allow Somalia forces to better fight al Shabaab," the spokesman added.

The US troops will join the small number of US special operations forces already there providing counterterrorism support to local forces battling the local al Qaeda affiliate, al Shabaab. That advisory mission has been underway for several years...

Morons were silent when Obama sent troops there in 2014.

I wasn't.
Yes you were. You're just pissed Putin isn't training them.

There is the possibility that Assads Air Force dropped bombs on weapons storage warehouses that were storing the rebels poisonous gas. So it was the rebels own gas that killed them.

Well... except that, the rebels haven't used any poison gas and where would they get that?

Assad, on the other hand, HAS used poison gas and had poison gas when Obama was president and claimed he had eliminated it. So you have a tyrant with a history of it, who's done this before... but you don't think he did it this time... because why?

Also... had this bizarre scenario you are claiming HAD actually happened, I would imagine Assad would have immediately issued a statement that this is what happened and he didn't intend for it to. Instead, he simply denied any responsibility.

Well actually, he called it what it was. It was a complete False Flag fabrication. And i agree with him.

Actually, you haven't explained that. Neither has Assad. It's great that you're on the side of a tyrant who has a history of using poison gas on his own people but you have to support your argument here.

He is seeing the intell. You either trust him or you don't but what is becoming more and more obvious is that the Obama presidency was very destructive to our nation and the world. He left the world in a mess and Trump can not make America great again without cleaning up the global mess Obama left first.
17 year war against a bunch of desert dwellers? Obama ruined his reputation and he caused great harm all over the planet and now he is still in hiding on a private island with a Big shit eating grin plastered onto his cigarette sucking wrinkled up mug.
I trust Trump,
I trust the Generals around him. It's time to kick ass get these wars over with and come home. It's hard, it's not easy, if it were easy the boy would have done it. Now a man has to take over for the boy and get the job done. Or else we can just keep doing what we've been doing and you can watch your grandchildren when they turn 18 march off to Iraq or Afghanistan.....Take your pick.

Do you really believe they're ever gonna 'come home?' 16yrs in Afghanistan, 14yrs in Iraq? It looks more to me like it's an Orwell '1984' scenario. The wars are designed to go on forever. No victories or losses. It's a Permanent War agenda.

Bullshite! He's winning the war. There was no strategic value for him in carrying out a chemical weapon attack. The only ones who benefit from such an attack, are the 'Regime Change' powers-that-be. Use some common sense for God's sake.

Aw, now you're you're just being a pissy little Warmonger. I did not support Obama sending troops to Somalia.

More Bullshite. Assad has never been a threat to the US. The US had no moral or legal right to declare 'Regime Change.' It's all just more lies to get the American Sheeple to support more wars that don't benefit them at all.

That was Obama's and Clinton's wishes, Trump wants us the hell out of there. The proof is in the way he is conducting the wars. He is letting his Generals do what it takes to win. I see us coming home victorious. Obama saw a endless war and endless killing. It's ridiculous. This war is almost generational. Time to put the hammer down kill the bad guys where ever they are.

Just can't get rid of the notion that the US is not the World Police.
It is the dawning of a new age if only Trump keeps his word.
Besides Somalia has been a hellhole for ages without a working government.
Hell the US can't even stop the third world pirate that attack huge freighters on basically wooden run skiffs. That could does not deserves any US troops, how ever I would not be opposed to dropping a few MOABs on them.

I don't want to be the World's Police. But we HAVE to protect US interests and deal with strategic national security situations. If we FAIL to do that, the consequences are more dead soldiers in the future.

If we have to drop MOABs... Fine! If it takes a couple dozen Special Forces... Okay! If it means sending a carrier group... Let's do it! Even if we must put some boots on the ground... it's what we HAVE to do to get this problem solved. THEN... MAYBE... we can all teach the world to sing in perfect harmony, grow apple trees and honey bees and snow white turtle doves! Until we get there, we're going to have to kick some asses!

Sorry, but i disagree. It looks like Trump's going along with the Permanent War NWO Globalist powers-that-be. And that's very sad, i thought he would he would go a different route.

Well, the Atlanta Falcons were winning the Super Bowl with the clock running out when there was no strategic advantage for them to pass the football... but they did anyway!

People do things sometimes that don't make sense.

No I disagree with you. A nation just can't walk away from an ongoing conflict. It either must be won or lost. Either you are the victor or the loser. If there is no victor the war will just go on and on and on. Rather than cry about it why don't you tell us what you would do. It's time to win, I don't want to lose. Those are your only two choices.

Yes, but that's the point. It's an Endless War agenda. There's no victories or losses. They're wars that drag on with with no conclusion. Have you read Orwell's '1984?' If not, i urge you to do so.

I've read it numerous times. It's a book! A novel, a work of fiction! I guess all I can tell you is to wait and see. I think I know Trump. He is going to win this stupid war. That alone would solve all of the rest and he knows it.
The economy and infrastructure, healthcare and tax relief. All will look brighter when we win the war and come home. First things first, that is the first rule of business and Trump is a businessman. He will get it done. Write this down or copy and save it. He will get it done.

I don't see any 'Win' in sight. These wars never end. The only 'Winners' are the NWO Military Industrial Complex bastards. Average American Citizens will never see any 'Wins.'

"Dozens more troops" ...Really? We're freaking out over DOZENS?
Oh My God... It's WW3!

I think a LOT of what Trump is doing is to send a message to both our allies and enemies that our foreign policy is going to be dramatically different than the past 8 years. We're not going to appease and pussyfoot anymore. Those days are over.

I really don't think Trump is going to get us involved in some long protracted war. IF we send troops in somewhere, we're gonna get in and get the hell out quickly. I imagine that's what is behind this deal in Somalia... send in the right people, get the damn job done, and get the hell out of there.

People are going to criticize everything he does with the military... even his own supporters. But one of his campaign promises was to eliminate ISIS. You can't do that with cruise missiles alone. It's impossible without assets on the ground. And there will probably be casualties and we'll have to hear the wailing and agonizing over that as well. The reality is, this threat of ISIS is serious and we have to get our boots dirty to eliminate it. Sorry.... hold on, the ride may get bumpy, but we're gonna be alright.

No one gives a fuck about Somalia, no need to waste time or money over there!

Well, the thing about Somalia is the presence of ISIS. You can't let them have Somalia! Look at a map sometime... it's a strategic asset we can't allow to fall into the hands of the bad guys.

Look... I'm a libertarian.. I understand this isolationist idea... but the truth of the matter is, we have some big problems in the world that we need to address. We can't just throw up our hands and not give a shit. Our nation did that once before and the world went to hell in a hand basket, then we had to expend nearly an entire generation trying to save ourselves from tyranny. We can't be the world's police but we can take care of this bunch of radical Islamic nutbags.
Bad guys all over the ME. Let's make sure the people get a decent leader that won't shove crap all over the people there.

I hear ya, I haven't given up on Trump yet. But if his domestic approval numbers continue to sink, i fear he will start some sort of bloody 'Wag the Dog' War. And i'm not buying the Assad 'Chemical Weapon attack' in Syria. I see it as being a False Flag event. I'm very concerned with the direction he's going in.

RE: "False flag event"

Let me ask you this.... WHO else, other than Assad, has access to aircraft which delivered the chemical weapons? Did terrorists steal one of his planes? ISIS has no air force. It wasn't a Russian plane. The rebel forces there don't have planes.

This is the part that makes NO rational sense if it was a "false flag" event. I've not heard an explanation and I'd love to hear one. Who's airplane delivered the chemical weapons? :dunno:
There is the possibility that Assads Air Force dropped bombs on weapons storage warehouses that were storing the rebels poisonous gas. So it was the rebels own gas that killed them.
Its possible that Iran had a hand in it but it does not go well for Assad or the people there. Javad Zarif on Twitter The comments translate easily.

Not our business forcing leaders on them. That's Imperialist Empire stuff. It's the exact opposite of what our Founding Fathers wanted. We're not supposed to be an 'Empire' telling other countries who their leaders should be. That's not what we're supposed to be about. We've lost our way as a nation.
