As task0778 said, one could try to make an argument for the first shot (even though I think anyone who truly feared for their life would instinctively jump out of the way, not take the time to switch a cell phone to the other hand, and then aim and shoot someone)...But the second and third shots are an entirely different story. He was on the side of the car, the vehicle was already driving past him. I think there is far more evidence that he acted out of anger (and maybe poor training) than self-defense.

My adoring public. Thinking about putting up a paywall for my future posts. I kinda need the money. Anyway, it looks to me like the shooter wasn't actually in front of the car and in danger of getting run over. True, he walked around the other side of the car and then across the front of the car, but when the victim begins to pull away he has moved over to the side but yes, still in front. It seems to me that the argument that he was in grave danger is bogus. He got dragged in an earlier incident elsewhere I believe, and so one might say he was not anxious to have that happen again, either for himself or the fellow agent that had his hand inside the car. My guess is, he's ready to GTF outta the way if necessary. I can't tell at what point the fellow agent is free from the car and there's no telling what went through the shooter's mind when he opened fire. One wonders if his superiors should have put him out there in the 1st place, in view of what happened to him before.

LE people have a really tough job sometimes. Like all of us, they make mistakes but in his case he's got a gun. I ain't saying he was guilty of a crime, judge and jury will no doubt figure that out. Then there's the idiot activist ***** (IAB), who most likely was there to obstruct the ICE agents and politicize the event, thereby making the job harder for the agents. Who, being human like the rest of us, probably resented her. Which doesn't mean they get to shoot her, given a reason; but she did IMHO and they did. They shouldn't have shot her, but her actions might have made it an option.

Did the IAB see the shooter pull his weapon? I can't tell if her vision was blocked by the fellow agent with his hand inside the car. But I gotta say that the instant I see a gun, that's when I stop the car and do what I'm told. She didn't do that, she tried to leave, possibly in a panic. Hell, getting arrested would have served her purpose even better than the obstruction did.

So, a lotta moving parts to this tragedy. I think the rhetoric from the anti-ICE Left bears some responsibility for inflaming people against federal agents who are just doing their job. And a dangerous job it is too, and the presence of a buncha IABs protesting and interfering as much as they can does not help the situation. But the Left wants that, they want a political talking point going into the 2026 election. So they agitate and get film on TV, screaming a hollering against ICE. And that buttfuck governor and mayor made it worse with their inciteful BS.

The place to fight ICE is in court, not the streets. Do it at the ballot box come November. We gotta calm the **** down. Do not put people into difficult situations and ratchet up the emotions.
