Charlie Rose and Tom Brokaw discussing Barry on October 30, 2008, just days before the election:
ROSE: I don't know what Barack Obama's worldview is.
BROKAW: No, I don't, either.
ROSE: I don't know how he really sees where China is.
BROKAW: We don't know a lot about Barack Obama and the universe of his thinking about foreign policy.
ROSE: I don't really know. And do we know anything about the people who are advising him?
BROKAW: Yeah, it's an interesting question.
ROSE: He is principally known through his autobiography and through very aspirational (sic) speeches.
BROKAW: Two of them! I don't know what books he's read.
ROSE: What do we know about the heroes of Barack Obama?
BROKAW: There's a lot about him we don't know.
No shit, genius.
Duh, those two clowns are members of the media. Barry declared his candidacy on 2/10/07, nearly 2 friggin' years before they had the above discussion in which it is painfully clear neither of them - not to mention dozens of others - did a damn bit of vetting of the community agitator from Chicago.
And yet we have things like the NY Times sending an army of reporters to Alaska to dig up dirt on Palin.
And just to piss off the lefties the above quotes are from here:
