Nowhere in his memo did he say to deprioritize ”deprioritize Russia”. This is a term completely made up by the media. He said to prioritize threats from China and Iran.

I worked in cyber security for the DoD for many years. We have the capability to defend against all cyber attackers since they literally attack us from everywhere anyway. We get hacked by people in Canada.

The Fake News media injected their own interpretation, as if we don’t have the capability to actively block and prioritize threats from multiple nations at the same time.
