Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the theft of about 100,000 eggs from Pete and Gerry's Organics in Greencastle, Franklin County.

Police say the eggs, valued at approximately $40,000, were stolen from the back of a trailer on Commerce Avenue just before 9 p.m. Saturday.

LOL....The dems here should love this one! OMG....Things are so bad they are stealing eggs!

100,000 eggs? Those guys were not yolking around.

Now that's not just some poultry amount. I'll bet there are some hard-boiled criminals behind this caper.

The cops will have to scramble in order to catch these thieves. They won't get over-easy.

If 100,000 eggs are worth 40,000 dollars, why does the supermarket sell that many for 85,000 dollars?
