In spite of media resistance, Trump's approval numbers are going up, so the Democrats are getting very cautious about what they say. Apparently Waters didn't get the message, and that is to back off this impeachment talk because American's are simply not supporting it. Oh, you can find rigged polls that say they do, but the DNC knows there is no truth to it.

Piglosi is trying to stop the bleeding just before the 2018's until they figure out a new plan. This Russia thing has been fizzling out for the last year, the racist, sexist, homophobe is as old as Piglosi, so what's left (no pun intended)?

If something concrete is found in Spy Gate, the Democrats are in serious trouble. They are fighting tooth and nail to stop any and all evidence of what led to the spying. If something is found, it won't be until some time which brings us closer to 2018.

There are many other possible problem areas:

CA is likely to see huge problems because the Rs are limiting their supported candidates severely to have as many R v. R runoffs as possible.

PA is motivating Rs not Ds with their regerrymandering of seats.

Trump, Pence and other Rs are going to raise funds and shoot commercials for anybody and everybody with a decent chance of winning. This will at the very least strain D finances.

By all means, try and impeach. I'd love to see it. If they win, we get Pence, and if they lose, they destroy themselves. That's win-win in my book.

You can't really count on that because not all funds come from the DNC. They have many wealth people like Gates, Soros, Buffet, and all of Hollywood to support their cause.

Yeah, however their wealthy supporters tend to be to the left of the average D but to the right of D activists. that is not good for a coherent message.
