If you go to the US Communist party website and look at their agenda and policies, you're not going to find many differences between theirs and the Democrat party of today. Conservatives are getting more power in the Republican party, and we conservatives are constitutionalists. So where is the middle ground between Communism and Constitutionalism? There is none. It's like trying to find middle ground between Israel and the Palestinians. It's oil and water.

So there is no way to have a perfect union. The Democrats have drifted too far left. The only real solution to our disagreements is to have two countries instead of one. Divide it right down the middle. Liberals on one side, conservatives on the other, and we each run our country our own way.

Like I said, you can't do that with Democrats. The only way to get along with a Democrat is to do things 100% their way, and nothing less will be accepted. For crying out loud, they shutdown the government for the longest period of time in our history over funding for the southern wall. Trump was only asking for 3 billion dollars. Three billion dollars is what we spend on food stamps for a little over a half of a month. They didn't offer 2 billion or a billion and a half. It was no, period.

More recently is the stimulus bill. The Republicans didn't want any stimulus money. They didn't want additional unemployment from the federal government. All they really wanted was for the Democrats to take their pork out of the bill. Nope. The only way to avoid another shutdown was keep the pork in there, and that's what they did. This in spite of the Republicans giving them 300 bucks a week for additional unemployment instead of 600, and they also gave the Democrats 600 dollars for the stimulus checks instead of 1200. What did the Democrats give up? Not a damn thing.

You can't get along with people who's sole goal is to defeat you and make you look bad any possible way they can. Look at how they spent 4 years trying to get rid of Trump.

There is only a fraction of Democrats who are against the EC. Republicans are not for a national ID, we are for Voter IDs in states. Being for Republican chosen justices is a matter of our history and procedure, that's not really a Republican or Democrat thing.

By your own admission you haven't voted for a Republican for years, and when it comes to policies or ideology, you always turn left on those issues.
