The date that your cite was published was Dec 2nd. Guess who was around for Pelosi to negotiate with? The Senate was on "Vacation" and Mnuchin wasn't to be found anywhere. The senate is back now and talks (behind closed doors) are happening right now between Pelosi and many of the Senate Republicans. Of course, Moscow Mitch isn't in on those talks. He refuses. And the Administration flew south for the winter and won't be available until after Jan 20th.

Trouble is, the Pubs tend to funnel such money to Wall Street, while the Dems insist on it going to Main Street...

At this point, personally, I'm ready to say "Screw business. Get the money in the pockets of the folks having trouble keeping a roof over their heads and food on the table." ...

Given that the Pubs have dikked-around far too long in pimping for business, well, Crazy Ol' Nancy may actually be right for once...

Give the vacillating Pubs a deadline and stick to it...

But the Dems have to budge here-and-there as well... they want far too much, and have no way to pay for it...

As of yesterday evening, Pelosi was talking with Senate Republicans behind closed doors and THEY came up with a bipartisan agreement at 980billion which is a far cry less than the original House bill and slightly more than the Senate bill. And it's very close to the original Rump suggestion. But as of last night, Moscow Mitch dismissed it and won't allow it into committee or the floor for open senate discussion and Mnuchin says that the Admin will back whatever Moscow Mitch does.

The old act runs out on Dec 26th. But there will be a new Senate Majority Leader on Jan 3rd. Thank you for our worst nightmare giving the Dems all 3 power stations. You just cost the GA runoffs big time.
