Peaceful Protesters Arrested in Russia...Not a Peep From Conservatives

MOSCOW (AP) — Protesters took to the streets in Moscow, St. Petersburg and across Russia on Friday to decry the invasion of Ukraine, even as authorities sought to suppress the spreading antiwar sentiment and project an image of strength and righteousness. The rallies on Friday night appeared smaller than on Thursday, when thousands took to the streets across Russia. A total of 1,820 demonstrators were detained in 58 Russian cities on Thursday night, including 1,002 in Moscow, according to OVD-Info.
Fake News .... :cuckoo:

DementiacRats are out in front of the media, spewing lies and hypocrisy, stating they are against this war that THEY started with Putin.........rolling in their own bullshit.

Republicans are in conferences, trying to figure out the best way to deal with this and help those people, without pissing off Putin even more. Something the DementiacRats will NEVER do, because they WANT WAR.

MOSCOW (AP) — Protesters took to the streets in Moscow, St. Petersburg and across Russia on Friday to decry the invasion of Ukraine, even as authorities sought to suppress the spreading antiwar sentiment and project an image of strength and righteousness.

The largest demonstration erupted in St. Petersburg, where several hundred people spontaneously gathered in the city center, chanting “No to war!” as police in full riot gear detained one protester after another.

The OVD-Info rights group that tracks political arrests counted 437 detentions in 26 Russian cities, including 226 in Moscow and 130 in St. Petersburg. In Moscow, police were also detaining random people who were just passing by, according to media reports.

I guess when you're enaomored with the brutal dictator that invades other nations...you don't care so much about peaceful demonstrators being arrested all of the sudden. It was like 10 days ago that the conservatives styled themselves as the hero of the oppressed, champions of free speech and giving voice to the downtrodden. What happened to you guys?
You want the mob to offend Putin's asseater, Trump?

Won't happen. They're waiting for the latest talking point from the Orange Baboon.

The Russian Federation is involved in a great civil war, America did the same when we were in similar situation in the 1860's. If and when, President Putin were to brutalize mostly peaceful protesters during a time of peace like Brandon has, he'll be criticized too.

The protestors are criticizing their hero, so...
It is not so much a hero as a man who believes in his nation. He is not a globalist. Look, Biden is more of a leader for a citizen in Haiti than his own. His agendas are to steal as much money from us the peons he can to redistribute to 2nd and 3rd world Nations calling it the Global Climate Change Green movement. We will see some improvement in some of it that we already have the technology in as they flim flam the peasants. The real improvements are decades away. Anyway, Putin is drinking a glass of champagne as a toast to Biden who has enriched him.

So what?

Although we all realize that any peaceful demonstration is a strange phenomenon. What are we to do? Jump up and down or something?

You are directly responsible for what is happening so is this some sort feeble attempt to distract from the disaster in the White House?

Make no mistake.

We did? So where is all this support at? I watch evil right-wing Fox every night and I haven't seen any of my favorites support Putin: not Laura, Not Sean, Not Tucker. Maybe you can direct me to the host or prominent Republican who has. I'll wait here.

Oh we're out there, but it's hard for people to notice with all the lefties voicing their concern about free speech. :eusa_shhh:

Liberals are calling for the arrest anyone who doesn't praise FJB's weak response to Russia, now whining about conservatives not commenting on Russian protests is priceless. :heehee:

Commies are so funny. We're supposed to be upset because Russians are getting arrested in their own country for speaking out against the invasion of Ukraine, but not one lefty ever spoke out about business people getting arrested in the US for opening up their services to the public last year, especially those who didn't enforce their mask mandates. If fact the commies stated they deserved to be in jail.

Between this thread and this thread, a trend seems to be emerging that candycorn seeks to distract the attention of Americans away from what its own party is doing to this country, by demanding that we worry instead about the goings on in other countries on the other side of the world.

Yes, the Russians are assholes, and the Ukrainians are assholes, and now, they're killing each other. Fuck them. That's their problem, not mine.

Meanwhile, the Democraps are fucking over my country, destroying basic freedoms and violating human rights, fucking up the economy, fucking up the supply chains, allowing violent crime to run rampant, allowing sick sexual perverts to brainwash and exploit our children, and candycorn cannot bring itself to condemn any of this. Candycorn, in fact, is in favor of all of this. All Americans are impacted by the policies that candycorn openly defends, but it wants us to ignore that and worry about what the Russians and the Ukrainians are doing to one another.

Maybe we should all take up a collection for a one-way plane ticket for candycorn to wherever the hottest front is in the Russian/Ukrainian conflict.
