The only groups the Republicans have alienated is their base and ninety per cent of the population for engaging in the same sort of rediculous over wrought spending that Democrats have always done.

Welcome more outsiders means be more appeasing to the masses, so that the party can regain control. That is my take. I don't buy into that rhetoric.

An effective political party SHOULD be doing what the masses want. Not kowtowing to small groups of fat cats and crazies.

I don't like political parties. I consider them a cancer upon our Republic. Be that as it may, the role of the elected is to protect, preserve, and defend the Constitution. The wishes of the constituents comes second to that, provided that the wants and desires of the employers is in keeping with the primary role of the elected employees.
