Remember the Crimean war, around 1850?
That was the British trying to steal the Crimea from the Russians back then.

The Ukraine is not a country, and the words translate as the disputed borderlands between Poland and Russia.
There is no third country.
But after the Russian Revolution, the Allies tried to take everything from Russia they could, so they made up the Ukraine in the Treaty of Versailles.
