I was watching a video on flat earthers (and there is a lot of MAGA crossover there). I noticed EXACTLY the same mannerisms when they talk about how the Earth is flat -- the same smiling, I-know-something-you-don't-know condescension -- even though what they're saying is simply, demonstrably absurd. They have decided that they're very smart and accurately-informed.

It really hit me. I think this is pretty simple. Trump makes them "feel" smart, strong and part of something. I think it's that goddamn simple. AND imagine, that's a huge hold on them. They can't give that feeling up, and they'll defend it all day. No matter what.

Just stop.If their mail ballot was used, once opened and accepted (ignoring SIG mismatch) no one knows who it voted FOR (any office on the ballot). The Ballot is in the pile and counted.

People have identified hundreds of thousands dead names on the voter rolls. Cyber ninjas identified 53K suspicious votes. They were blocked out of mail envelope names. Many names they listed were ineligible, moved, not at the same county or state they registered. Have to go back and look it up.

Just SHUP. It's a mess. Many of 81 million were invalid votes. 8 million votes missing the next time around (back to norma)l, no 150K one-way vote spikes the last hours AFTER election night ended.

I imagine this comes from a lifetime of feeling somehow inferior. I think another element is that, in higher education, you are taught how to be wrong, how to intelligently/effectively "research", and how to honestly challenge your own beliefs.
