Pat Buchanan is still around and he has a lot to say about immigration

I parted company with Pat when he started spouting the anti-Israel stuff. Which is not to say I think the Israeli lobby isn't incredibly powerful ... probably too powerful.
But overall I'll always side with them over their enemies.

Every country should have the right to allow or disallow immigration from certain countries. Whenever the US takes this position with a GOP president, it's racism. I'd like a leftist to tell us how can this country compete against China, S. Korea and Japan if we allowed say exclusively Haitians, Guatamalans, and Somalians.
