The United Church of Christ pastor called the Christian right a "transnational" movement that has also found footing in authoritarian regimes like Vladimir Putin's Russia and Viktor Orbán's Hungary. And she characterized its goal as one in which its proponents impose a "rigid moral order" on the rest of the world that serves to "polarize the public and erode democratic institutions." However, she said Pope Leo XIV's tenure could be one in which the Christian right's use of religion "to justify authoritarian consolidation and frame dissent as sacrilege" is upended.

The problem with nationalist christianists, is they are nationalists. Catholicism is globalist, and there are a lot more of them, and the majority aren't white. The newest Nazi movement will meet the same fate the last Nazi movement met, which is all nationalist Christianism is

Of course it does. Christians are not going to listen to some Minister of some church that doesn't follow God's law.
Izzat supposed to be a joke? They listen to MAGAt pastors and TV evangelists all the time. all the time

Racism, bigotry, and hate have long been an element of the Christo-fascist right.

Christian nationalists seek to establish an anti-democratic authoritarian regime to promote white grievance politics and racist replacement theory.

We’ve witnessed conflicts between the Christo-fascist right and the Catholic Church, with the latter’s opposition to Trump’s hateful, racist immigration agenda.

Father Couglin comes to mind.

The future threat will come from the Islamist movement.
The left is either too stupid to see it, or they simply do not care as long as it wipes out Christianity and or the white community.
