Yes, after analysis, consideration and debate of proposed legislation with the necessary give and and take and compromise that is always necessary--it is rare that anybody gets everything he/she wants--it is necessary for the party to come together to pass legislation that does far more good than any possible harm. Such is the case with the BBB just passed .
It is unfortunate that some will focus only on the small part of what they didn't get that they wanted and ignore all the good that it will accomplish.
It isn't like it is the last piece of legislation that will ever be passed. If there are unintended consequences, I expect our elected leaders to address and repair that.
For instance some are decrying the hardships on rural hospitals due to the Medicaid reforms but ignore the $50 billion authorized for the states to apply for to provide relief to those hospitals that need it.
