The Cubans have nothing to give as restitution thanks to 62 years of sanctions.

The good news is that people like you are dying off daily and soon will be gone and the US can quit being dicks to the whole world
Its not the fault of the US that Cyba is hole. No country has a right to US dollars.

I am not saying to give them a damn thing. I am saying quit punishing them for something that took place 62 plus years ago, something that we played a good sized part in happening.

We are not punishing. They are free to trade with everyone else. They have nothing to trade.

Then they can make up for it with us.

Figures a lemming like you wants to reward bad behavior.

All they have to do is agree to negotiate compensation for the nationalized assets.

Or you approve of governments getting away with uncompensated nationalization?
We didn’t make Vietnam pay for seizing US assets and have open trade and diplomacy with them

Never happen. The US has done great damage to their economy for 65 years. The US should compensate them.

Why is it ok when we do?

We did it with Batista in Cuba.

We not only supported Noriega in Panama but we basically put him into power.
One argument is that we can't change the past but can the present. Should we trade with dictatorships? Should we even care?

Our criminal government has allowed trade with dictators for a long time. Currently they’re supporting a dictator in Kiev. The thing is they don’t like dictators who support their people over US corporations. They like only dictators who do their bidding.

you think Cuba has a lot of dollars?

and then you call me a dumbass?

Now I know why you are on ignore
They owe the US money. Surely China would lend it to them!

Just FYI, my previous pastor at church is Cuban. His father is the Bishop of the United Methodist Church in Cuba. My little finger knows more about Cuba than most people. Especially people like you atrhat are nothing but blowhards on most topics.

What money do they owe the US?

Why should a confirmed Mind-Our-Own-Business fence jockey like Harpy care about Cuba one way or the other?

Whats in it for him?

Dont tell me he found a compassionate bone in his body somewhere

And wouldnt you know it?
