Gee, maybe some Palestinians can start up something to protest the prisoners held in the Palestinian jails.

While the Palestinian Authority is calling on the international community to punish Israel for imprisoning Palestinians, its own security forces continue to hold hundreds, if not thousands, of Palestinians in prison, some tortured, some without trial.

This year alone, the Palestinian Authority has arrested 357 Palestinians accused of security/political offenses, 42 of whom are university students.

Of course, the arrests continue to be ignored by the mainstream media in the West. This is a story that does not reflect negatively on Israel, so is therefore not considered worthy of being reported to Western audiences.

The Palestinian Authority's duplicity clearly has no limits.

On April 17, it marked "Prisoners Day" by holding rallies throughout the West Bank in solidarity with Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails.

Palestinians: "Prisoners Day"

A majority of the prisoners are Islamists or individuals that Israel and the U.S. have demanded the PA arrest. With the disbanding of the PA the prisoners will be Israel's problem.

"The vast majority are suspected sympathisers with Hamas and Islamic Jihad and most of them were detained during mass arrests by the Palestinian Authority following bomb attacks directed against Israeli civilians. It is possible that some “political prisoners” are prisoners of conscience: in certain cases, there is credible evidence to indicate that suspected Islamist sympathisers are being detained for extended periods for their non-violent opposition to the Palestinian Authority or to silence them from speaking about matters that could embarrass the Palestinian Authority.
Although some “ political prisoners ” have been arrested for criticising the Palestinian Authority and opposing the peace process, far more are believed to have been detained because of pressure from outside the Palestinian Authority to put down “terrorists.” This pressure comes primarily from Israel and partly from the US, which has invested resources into brokering a peace in the Middle East.

I'll tell you what, Haniya. You and the UK Boiler Room gang can go over their en masse and protest that you want all the Palestinians being held in the Israeli jails let free. While, you are there, you can also protest that you want the prisoners held in the West Bank and Gaza jails let free. This way the whole area can have criminals roaming around.

It does not follow, or non sequitur as my ancestors would say.

One thing quite obvious, Haniya. is that you and the boiler room gang are really not interested in the innocent people (both Christians and Muslims) being murdered in the rest of the Middle East because the Jews are not involved. All your boiler room gang wants to do is demonize Israel because you feel the Arabs should be in charge of that tiny piece of real estate and not the Jews.

You're all over the map, girl. Read the subject of the thread, read the comments and make pertinent comments.

I just wish you and your boiler room gang would actually do some good over there instead of being in the boiler room demonizing Israel all over the Internet while innocent Arabs are being murdered elsewhere.

A Palestinian Prisoners's Day?

Cool.

Maybe they can sit 'em on road-carnival dunking-stool game-machines...

Dunk the Palestinian Terrorists...

Three balls for a dollar...

Set it up in the marketplace...

Call it Souk-N-Soak...

Sounds like grand fun...

And now that they have signed the UN conventions they will be pressed to take even more action against terrorists. A failure to comply could result in them receiving UN sanctions

Palestine IS "ALL OVER THE MAP" so mentioning other parts of the M.E. is keeping on topic. Going to South Africa in a childish attempt at deflecting away from your lost arguments

Dayton's forces (US Lt. Gen. Keith Dayton)

They arrest people who have committed no crime and without court issued warrants. They hold people without charge, trial, or legal representation. They torture people and several have been tortured to death.

All of this is in violation of their constitution and the rights of the people.

It is a coordinated effort between the US, Israel, and the illegal government in the West Bank.

Those are the people who Hamas kicked out of Gaza in 2007, and for good reason.

Is anyone stopping the Hamas representative here in the U.S. from going over there and protesting also.? Maybe Hamas told him to stay by his computer and do his job. Hmm, since members of Hamas belong to the Muslim Brotherhood, it is a good bet that their representative in the U.S. does too.
