At least 28 Palestinians were killed Sunday, most in a strike on a house in Nuseirat in central Gaza, health officials and Hamas said. In a statement, the Gaza Civil Emergency Service said rescue teams have also recovered the bodies of 150 Palestinians killed by the Israeli army in recent days, and that 300 houses had been struck by Israeli aerial and ground fire.

The numbers you are citing are produced by Hamas and no one knows how many have actually died, and the claims the IDF is targeting civilians are simply false.

After the Oct 7 attack, Hamas reiterated that it would continue to attack Israel unless it was destroyed by Israel, so the destruction of Hamas and the other terrorist groups was the only way for Israel to protect its citizens. By successfully merging their tunnel network with the civilian infrastructure, Hamas made the large scale destruction of infrastructure and some civilian deaths unavoidable, but Israel has meticulously abided by Internatioanl Humanitarian Law throughout this war so the destruction of property and the casualties are the minimum possible that is consistent with the destruction of Hamas, etc. and the protection of the Israeli people.
