Weapon in a schoolbag
As part of an investigation into a Palestinian arms trade an improvised Carlo gun was found in the bag of a 9-year-old (third grade) daughter of one of those involved in the affair, a Palestinian resident of the village of Beit Omrin near Shchem, who used his daughter to smuggle weapons.

I'm not in favor of checkpoints in my country,
but this brings the question of removing them once sovereignty is fully applied in Judea Samaria.
In the current situation checkpoints create friction, but this friction also has its positive side, see above.
However, once sovereignty is applied it is also easier to control the infrastructure, and the police patrols in friction with such elements by default presence. But essentially the root treatment is Jewish presence - when eventually these villages fuse into larger municipalities with increased Jewish population (and change of the majority in the region), these things solve organically over time.
