HAHA!!!!
Best part, the Occupy moron saying "We need guidance" in reference to the group falling apart.
Hmmm. "Guidance" huh? Now, how would that happen. Who would "guide" a group? You mean like a "manager" or a "boss"? What if all the Occupy movements had a "boss" who told others what to do. And was responsible for a lot of the group's activites? Surely he'd have to get something in return right? And what if several groups, with "guidance" wanted to be even more influental? They may have to nominate someone to be in charge of all the smaller groups under one larger umbrella group. Like an operator of a big group, except he's the main "guider". Like a chief. And he'd be in charge of executive decisions. Like a Chief Executive type person or officer or....like, ya know, a CEO?
Then the Occupy movement would have CEO's and managers to guide their effort to protest CEO's and managers.
This shit is too funny.
Couldn't they just get an organizer ?
Sure. Isn't that all that managers, supervisors, CEO's, etc, are? They have people under them. They have tasks. They organize the effort to make those tasks happen.
But what if the Occupiers refuse to follow the orders....er, guidance, of their organizer? The organizer has to have some kind of power over them or it doesnt work.
A leader is one who convinces people to do things they dont want to, or wouldnt normally do, on behalf of a cause.
A cheerleader is one who cheers while people do what they already wanted to do anyway.
Anyone can lead a group of pre-motivated people who truly want to do something. A leader gets them to do what they may not want to.
Sounds like Occupy needs a leader. What would he need Occupy to do, that they aren't doing, to help them be more organized and effective?
- Keep showing up
- Stay motivated (to do nothing I suppose)
- Take a bath, shave, iron their clothing
- Attend meetings, stay on official message
- Do chores/tasks the group may need done
Sounds like a job. No wonder they cant find anyone to lead that charge.
