That very well explains why the R party couldn't get a single contender through the nomination process, no matter what they tried. Only liberal voters are willing to keep the status quo, while the democrats see a growing voting block (if they can keep the border open). Meanwhile Democrats have the Republican establishment too scared of being looked upon as racist, to support our current Federal law and do what needs to be done to enforce it. Only a candidate willing to shake off such rhetoric and stand up to the Democrats, will we ever see our immigration laws taken seriously.
