I love my insurance. My company has stated in an internal memo, which I wasn't even suppose to hear about, that once Healthcare reform is passed, and if a Public Option is available they may drop their Major insurance Carrier for all their employees but possibly executives. As it stands now the insurance is free for the employee and only $170.00 a month for an employee's entire family. The company will simply pay the fine,(about $750.00 per employee, which they will make back in three months or so). I don't blame them. They can use the excuse of declineing revenues and the state of the economy. Even though they still are very profitable. If this company does this, just imagine how many others will do it. Its a bottom line issue, can't blame them, I mean it will save the company many millions a year. I guess I will then have to turn to rationed health care like those poor people in Canada.
