he's a corporatist just like the others that followed him, much closer to fascist than socialist, single payer would be socialist, mandating customers to corporations is corporate fascism.

That would make virtually every aspect of our taxpayer funded government fascist, including defense. You have to pay your taxes, the government passes those taxes along to thousands of corporations in the form of government contracts, services, etc.

Don't pretend it's something new.

I didn't state it was new now did I? Some things;like defense; are Constitutionally mandated by our Constitution however I think that the military industrial complex is just as embraced with government and politicians of both parties as pharmaceuticals ,insurance, food and so much more is and the only way to rid that is much less government intervention ;here and overseas..

Then our Constitution mandates fascism.

No, at other protests, people get arrested.
At this one, the riot cops stood in the street. They didn't "push" anyone. They didn't arrest anyone. They just stood there, and kept the peace - which I believe is what police are supposed to do. Proportionate responce? I don't know. Violation of civil rights? Not a chance.

Well it would be rather moronic for the SWAT teams not to be there for this or future Presidents with protesters in past showing up with assault rifles.
