Drinking from straight from the garden hose, bike helmets weren't invented, stay out all day & make it back before dark to eat, no seat belts in cars, fist fights, rock fights, we even had wall dart fights around the neighborhood.
We survived just fine

I remember this thing...........I loved it!!

My little sister loved the monkey bars..............she constantly got banged up on those things,
but it NEVER phased her!!!

I also loved the swings..........the "tall" swings that went REALLY HIGH UP!!!
