In many developed nations, in The Netherlands, Canada, Spain, Belgium, Brussels, Sweden, England, countries with socialized medicine, that child would be put down like a dog whose owner can't afford medical treatment. Socialized medicine and euthanasia go together hand in hand as a way to control costs.
In the United States a family with a sick child can go, hat in hand, for charity asking the millionaires and billionaires who support the City of Hope, St Jude's, Shriner's Children's Hospital, and any one of dozens and dozens of organizations that receive the largess and chairity of the very wealthy. Especially those who like having that new state of the art cancer center named after them. In other countries, they get a ticket to killing and a card suggesting organ donation. Keep costs down, kill your kid. Kill yourself. Now, do you have any parts that still work?
Don't these people just make you sick to your stomach? It's like they don't know what socialized medicine does, how it works. It has delays so long people pull their own teeth. Of course you don't have to wait for medical care. You can get a shot the very next day. That cavity will not bother you any more - ever.
