Democrats were oh so very close under Biden. If they had been able to get rid of the senate filibuster they would have gotten rid of democracy and taken over the country forever. Both Manchin and Sinema were true heroes to save democracy and, ironically, they were cast out by their own party, setting the stage for voters to democratically vote in Trump and the red team.

And, out of the voters who’s number one reason for voting was to save democracy, 58% of those voters voted for Trump.

I mean voters clearly wanted a change from where we were. Trump won big and he won in every single swing state as voters clearly rejected where we were and most democrat policies.

So, by resisting everything Trump, democrats seem to be saying they want the opposite of Trump and don't intend on changing anything, even though that's why they lost big back in November. I don't hear hardly any of them saying they support a change in Democrat policies. They just want to reject Trump and go right back to what made them lose in the first place.

There were specific conditions in the DOHA agreement that were not met and contributed to the delays: 1) it required the Taliban to meet certain conditions (i.e. reducing violence, cutting ties with terrorist organizations) which the Taliban consistently violated; 2) Military and strategic concerns that advocated for a conditions-based withdrawal to ensure the security situation would be not collapse post-withdrawal -- Esper was a huge contributor to this and 3) Coordination with NATO allies and the Afghan government.

You left out that Trump left Afghanistan out of the DOHA agreement. The ones who had to fight off the Taliban.

That Trump had withdrawn most of our forces and only left 1500 troops for Biden
