I think there is a lot of turmoil within the DNP between the Far Left and the Moderates. Right now it appears the Far Left is in charge even though they are outnumbered (I think), but for some years now the DNP is losing support from the centrists and the indies. I do not believe the Far Left is going to change or go away quietly, they're too fanatical for that. But possibly the moderates will take back their party if they continue to lose presidential and congressional elections.

So - the answer to the question is that some democrats want to change but others do not. The ratio probably is in flux these days, we'll see how they do in the mid-terms next year.

President Biden ran on getting us out of Afghanistan after 19 years of conflict. He followed thru on that promise.

Should we be honoring agreements with terrorists? If we negotiate an agreement with terrorists are you implying that we should negotiate in bad faith? Are you stating that we should not honor shitlers! agreement to give pootin whatever he wants from Ukraine?

So, if I understand you correctly, you are praising Biden for campaigning on and getting out of Afghanistan, even though he left personnel and billions of dollars in equipment behind, ignoring his own advisor's advice on getting out too quickly, allowing terrorists to quickly take over the country, and showing Putin that he could invade Ukraine. But, we got out of Afghanistan. Interesting though how before you were claiming but but Trump and then now admit that it was Biden who campaigned on getting out and did.
