Oregon governor signs bill to end reading, math proficiency requirements for HS graduation to help students of color

Judging by the fact that this loony woman got elected in the first place shows how dumb Oregonians already are...this move will not help....
As usual the dregs of society in mostly coastal cities and areas that are drunk on their blue flavored "Fool Aid"
subjugate the other 70% of the state and that's how we wind up with leftist tyrants like Kate Brown.

I am encouraged that her approval numbers are low. Oregon's Kate Brown is one of the most unpopular governors in country: Morning Consult survey

I am worried that, being Oregon, her replacement might prove to be just as worthless as
Kate "Brown Syndrome" Brown herself.

Gosh, she really thinks badly of black people.
Oregon must be full of white supremacists to vote one into governorship..

Great job Gov Brown!

Let’s continue to LOWER expectations of students….

There is a silver lining to that cloud. Employers will have to switch to testing applicants abilities rather than accepting government diplomas. That means more people who are actually educated will get jobs and people who were socially promoted won’t. Meritocracy at work.

Brown is going to help students of color all right. She's going to help them seem totally incompetent and incapable of being educated.

Why don't they just stop the farce.

Tell all students of color: If you wish to attend high school, you are warmly welcomed. But the grading system will NOT be adjusted for you.

If you have more important things to do than attend high school, no problem: Just return in four years and you will be gifted a high school diploma.

But mind you, we can be tough. We will absolutely refuse to say that you were graduated as the Valedictorian. (Who says we Social Justice Warriors are pushovers?)
