Wait...."Operation Chaos" was an idea of the so-called "socialist supporters"?
No it was Tramp copying Russia Limpboy's 2008 tactic of having Republiscum vote for in the Dem primaries. The SC GOP tried to help by closing many poling places in minority areas to suppress the vote for Biden. But even with the GOP voting for Sanders and suppressing the minority vote, Biden still won big.
This is complete and utter horse shit. If you had spent even 5 minutes independently looking into this, rather than simply parroting the agit-prop you're being fed, you'd know that.
First, the "South Carolina GOP" did not close
any polling precints, nor could they. South Carolina law delegates decision making authority for polling locations and consolidations to each county, by its "county board of voter registration and elections" (elected by the citizens of each county). See
SC Code of Laws, Title 7.
Second, the reason the number of polling locations was consolidated is because the ones that are located in schools
obviously cannot be used for voting during the school year. And all of the polling locations that were "closed" are the ones
located in schools.
Belangia told the Prospect that the change was made because the 52 original locations were in schools, and they couldn’t host voters while the school year was in session.
Furthermore, the "closed" polling places have been closed for several months, and this is the
3rd election this year (including state and local) for which the consolidated precinct locations have been in place.
The Greenville County Democratic Party chair told the Progressive Network that the county kept the high number of relocated stations in place for the primary, so they wouldn’t confuse people who adjusted to the changes for the first two elections this year.
Consolidating polling stations is a regular occurrence in South Carolina, and Greenville has already planned to do it for the first four elections of this year. “We did that for January 7th, for January 21st, we did it for tomorrow’s election on the 29th and for a sheriff’s election on March 10,” County Executive Conway Belangia told the Prospect. “All of those [elections] being countywide.”
Finally, even setting all of that aside, there is no way anyone can argue with a straight face that votes are being suppressed when every household in America has at least one cell phone, and there are 50 websites that will tell you exactly where to go if you want to vote. The suggestion that this is "suppressing the minority vote" is one of the most demeaning narratives the left peddles, as if black people are too stupid to use the internet and too lazy/disinterested to use a different location. Here are the first 4 results from my quick Google search for "where do I vote in South Carolina"
